Missing out

CC BY-NC
My curtains blocked out the beautiful morning light, my walls blocked out the sound of the free wild community. My bed has kept me warm all night, I thought it was raining, hence I didn't dare to look outside. I heard some neighbours mumble, complaining, so then I said stay inside. I have missed an entire thrilling day the complaining I heard were old friends laughing, the rain I heard were children at play, and some old man coughing. If I had thought further with my big head, then I would've gotten up from bed.

Im a seventeen year old who had a passion for writing since the 4th grade I thought it was going to take me somewhere seeing that I was the only boy who couldn't play sports who was born with a soft soft voice and remains misunderstood I have spent my childhood trying to escape every comer of it yet still I have gotten nowhere I still have big dream like making children's dream come true and going to America
