Misunderstood

He was never in first place, and usually in last Doing whatever he could to keep a low profile in class Empty feelings deep down full of soul Dragging through life with no particular goal He never had any friends, or any one to speak with Always made fun of for being the "sweet" kid Only wanted a chance to be accepted But many opportunities he was given were to be regretted He was living in a lonely world with no father So he chose to blame HIM for not pushing him farther And when he's talked about at school he cries a little harder No way to escape the pain he withstands He escapes the pain when he dreams of the man The man who should be there to take his hand And tell him its alright I'll be your friend So he endures the bullying and pain everyday Hoping to find a friend who will actually care Looking up to his father in every way Even though his father was the one who was never there So is it his fault that he decides to end his life for good? He just wants to escape this nightmare, for he was only misunderstood.
