You were just "clowning around"

But it wasn't funny,

I felt anything but safe and sound.

I dreaded class

I feared the slimey words that you would spew,

The words that confirmed that you were a stupid ass

Nevertheless, they all listened,

Nevertheless, they all laughed

I would just sink deeper into my seat,

Hiding my face,

Which burned up with heat

I wanted you to stop singing my name,

I didn’t want to play your mind games

Not then,

Nor today

You're just a clown,

But you're not funny.

You turned my smiles into frowns...

You're a dummy.
