My Nephew's Impact

I am holding a blade
Up to my wrist
In the knife all I see is lies upon lies
But then I see you
And your little blue eyes
You say put the kinfe down Auntie
Or I will cry
So I put down the kinfe
And look at the scars
I see what I've done to myself so far
I don't want you to do this
No not ever
No matter how much pain you have to endever
So I will stop
But only for you
Even though right now
You are only two
