New Life

I just had enough
It's going to be rough
I can take the screaming a yelling anymore
I'm not out to settle any score
Getting through this period when hate is all people spew
There is a few who stand up for me and what I do
They keep me from falling falling falling

I feel as though it's my fault
My so called friends blame me and don't halt
As They say I'm over reacting be dramatic and immature
I did something drastic i got myself out the door
I couldn't take it any more
I just felt sick in my core
The thing I loved so much was being drained by the monster with a face
Those who are real say I'm doing the right thing i got out of that space

There was surprised i lasted a long time
That's why I write this rhyme
To explain to those who doubt me and want to call me out
You don't need to scream and shout
That I am doing the right thing now why can't you
Stop Trying to tell me what to do

Yell curses that cut me worse than blades
Is this how your "friends" are supposed to behave
With this decision I feel free
To be who I'm meant to be

I frighten of what happens next
With each new text
My heart fills with dread
I try to reach those who have left me
To get them to understand what is inside my head
They don't want to hear it they just me to be
A person who I'm not anymore

I'm done being pushed around
Afraid of making waves upsetting people Not making a sound
Not anymore i just had enough
It's about to get rough
For me and those around me
But I am strong steady and ready
I no longer care what others think I gotta do what right for me
Even if others cannot see
I'm done
My new life has begun
