A Night with Lilah

A gentle and kind creature,

Curled up beside me.

A loyal companion,

A best friend.

An innocent being,

Sentient and kind.

With a pure soul behind her eyes.

A steady,

Inhale and exhale,

Matching mine.

A best friend always by my side.

Never a word spoken,

but to clearly understand,

My sweet little creature,

My little lamb.
