No, you won't break me

You want to cut me off; you want to drive me away

You can’t, I’m here to stay.

Your cheap tricks, your sneers

Won’t be my living nightmares.

You can tell me all you want

Tell me that I don’t belong.

But I am done giving in

I am free of the demons within.

I won’t be yours to tease,

You can try as much you please.

I won’t succumb to your mockery, your jeers

As the last shred of my doubt disappears,

For the first time I see

I’m stronger, better and that’s your difficulty.

You have hurt me infinitely

But you haven’t, and you won’t break me.
