That one girl you don't truly know

Do you truly know the one girl in the front of the classroom whom wears glasses and rarely talks?  Have you tried talking to her, other than talking about her?  Maybe if you tried you would know who she really is, you would know she is very insecure about her weight, she has the lowest self esteem possible.  You would know that when she was about eight , she saw her dearest grandmother die of breast cancer, and that it still affects her to this day.  On her mothers side , she has no grandparents anymore.  She has her grandmothers husband, which is not really her grandfather, but thats the closest thing she has on her mom's side.  If you talk to her, you would know her dad has never really been in her life, he has been in and out of jail, but she's still close with that side of her family.  She goes to see her dad in prison and she hates seeing him in there! She just wants him to come home, but shes scared he may get out and not care about her.  That girl is now a junior in high school, who has recently turned 16 and to this day she still thinks of all that.  She lost almost 40 pounds all in one summer.  She thinks her mom is disappointed in her because she constantly gets in trouble, she wishes she could change how she is to please her mother. She knows it wont happen.  You probably wouldnt know but she is a very smart girl, she's in the National Honor Society and makes honor roll ever since she started school.  She still doesnt think her moms proud of her, she wishes her mom would tell her, just one day, that shes proud of her, and she doesnt and because of all of the things that has happened in her life, she crys herself to sleep almost every single night of her life. So for the girls that decide they want to laugh at her, and make snide comments, how about you walk one day in her shoes before you talk about her.  She doesn't try to steal your attention because she barely likes people to look at her because she doesnt think shes gorgeous, or pretty, or beautiful. She just wants to be talked to not talked about.
