This one's for...
This one's for he kids who have sat still in the back of the room.
The kids who have been forced to hide from you.
Hide from the words you have thrown in their face.
Those poor delicate feelings, of poor delicate boys and girls, ripped to shreds.
Lying in bed, wishing they were dead.
You sit and laugh.
You point fingers and call names because you're terrified of your own shame.
It washes over your body and crowds your bones.
Making you forget the happiness you once owned.
The happiness that was lost when sadness became your soul.
When pain became all you would ever know.
You cover the hurt y throwing sharp words.
Hitting the nerves of those already worn down.
Accusing them of being the ones afraid of their own heart's sound.
But it's really you.
You're the one begging to drown.
Hiding in crowd because of all those past moments that have torn you down.
So this one's for you too...
