Open Shell
A mysterious stranger, never known.
The change creates a new challenge, perhaps,
For reading of the new leaf that has grown.
The unfamiliar always running laps.
What is it that you see within my eyes?
There seems to always be two sides of me.
This useless barrier builds as my soul cries.
Or is it the smile that never seems free.
But that is not me, for I am much more.
Like a chameleon, I can shift like rain.
To see through all lenses creates a door,
For tolerance and honest truth we gain.
Don’t judge a stranger like a stranger might,
For we all have history that beams bright.
