Outcast
She sits in front of the mirror,
Loathing over her naked body.
She despises everything about herself.
She listens, everyday, to others praising her body,
Wanting what she shuns.
She fights to hold back the rivers forming in her eyes,
But losing the battle she has trying so hard to stay in.
She feels scorn in the eyes of others as well as her own.
She often feels overlooked,
Rejected,
Neglected.
She feels no matter how hard she tried to be noticed,
Acknowledged,
Recognized,
They pay no mind,
Give the cold shoulder,
Look the other way.
She feels misplaced,
Invisible,
Astray.
In a crowd full of people,
Her thoughts speak the loudest.
She can't take it anymore.
She sits in front of the mirror,
Loathing over her naked body.
She despises everything about herself.
