Pencil or Pen
“A pencil and a piece of paper
Will not change anything.”
“Then use ink!” she proclaimed
As if about to scream.
“The eyes are the windows to the soul.
You see:
If their wells are not full,
They cannot be free.”
“So ink is for wells
And all's well with ink...”
“And actions speak louder than -”
“Pencil! I think.”
“Good! Now go and change
What you could not grasp.
Fill their wells with all you have
And you will all be free at last.”
