Poetry Influenced me

Without poetry

I would be dead

Because I kept hearing voices inside my head

No one cared about the pain I carried

Everyone would tell me to keep my feelings buried

No one would understand the humiliation I felt

No one didn't understand that I needed help

I felt humiliated when people picked on me

I didn't have anyone to run to

So, I expressed my emotions in poetry
