it can all last.

it’ll stay on,

this little glue,

this little glow,

this little light-

won’t it?

it’ll all fall.

it won’t stay on.

this tacky glue,

this worthless glow,

this silly light-

it’s true.

it’s true,

won’t it?

it can all last,

this worthless glow,

if I just wish-

in a small dream

i dreamed, then.

of nothing dark,

of nothing bright,

and now dreams burst

with sweet color-

contrast.

doesn’t it hurt?

the little me

who felt it would,

the older me

who knows it won’t,

and this sticker

that teeters on

the edge of wall-

it hurts.
