The Reject

They call me a reject I swear it must be by defect I try to give respect But they only deflect I can never interject What should I expect? I try to tell myself that it's indirect Like a tape, they press eject They wonder how I detect Now, let me reflect When I try to protect All I get is disrespect In this place, I feel like an insect They say to always be perfect That should be incorrect They don't know the effect It's the mere concept That one person can change the erect In the mean time, I should take the time to collect But then again, I should just disconnect
