Revolution
So many people crave revolution.
But how few have the gall to start it?
To become it?
Cowardice is the tempest of human nature,
The snowy peak of mountain high.
So many people crave revolution.
So why do we shy away from the face of real change?
In the face of real power?
We always sit and wait and hide and cower,
The denizens of a temple forged from pacifist blades.
So many people crave revolution.
And yet, very few break the cycle.
A cycle of suffering.
But like a tiny crack that breaks the glass,
Enough small victories can do more than war.
Relief comes in small moments of peace,
For little of all is better than none.
A gulp of tranquility.
When the patterns begin to break,
Only then can we begin to see change for what it is.
A small step towards the future and a big step for what is right.
