Rumors
A tiny secret overheard
By a devil with a mischievous smile.
It flew away like a vicious bird
To its home, its private isle.
A silent whisper started it all
All heard and it had gone
Back to the owner who began to fall
Like a newborn fawn.
Evil laughter filled the air
Every where she walked with her head bent low.
Her gaze were met my a devil’s stare.
She wallowed in her eternal woe.
Leaving the devils behind, she turned around
So she could leave behind this town.
