Rumors Hurt

Walking home, The summer sun shines, I'm alone, But there's people behind, Daydreaming, I think of nothing, I imagine the stars, As if they're not far, People talk, While I continue my walk, They come, I ignore them, They spread rumors, as if words don't hurt, I continue my walk, They continue to talk, They say empty words, That hurt, I hold up my head, Until the day ends, While they continue to talk, I'm still on my walk, Waiting for the day to end, So I can escape to dreamland.
