School Days
Every Morning
I go to a place pitted with judgement,
Insensitivity,Anger,and Arrogance
Many people swelled to their peek with pride
Caring for no one, with the exception of themselves
Angered by others who are not like them
There is the minority,however
The ones who are disrespected, judged against, and insulted
...
Just because the differences that set them apart from the crowd
Differences like the epitome of their uniquity
Differences like passion,depth,determination,and strength
But most of all, what sets them apart is their love
They are the ones with compassion for others
They are the ones who swallow their pride
The ones who feel the anger, yet hold back their own
But,like I said,they have love
Love for other beings, love for conversations, love for emotions
But,the majority group full of narcissism forces them to
Hold back the way they shine
Not realizing, that they are the real stars
The ones who'd shine the brightest if others would let them
But,those swelled with selfishness don't let them.
They will try to convince you they are loving
Using every last drop of their false love
But,don't let them fool you
This poem is not for them
They'll like it and try to live up to it
But they can't
Because, this poem is for the outcasts
The true lovers,
To give them a voice
That they've never been allowed to have
Something wrong with this poem?
