Shades of Truth
Never lied would I
Neither had you ever
But you had never
Hurt me before
Inquiring of my condition
Considering the
Truth
I replied and my heart
It shuttered
This shade of truth
Too dark to be determined
From a lie
My spectrum of truth
Between green and grey
Shows me
How we’ve grown
Apart
Never before had there been
Shades of truth
Only one
White
The whole truth
Shades of truth
Will vary between
Green and grey
For you and I
We both fit into
Shades of greye)
