Shadows

There are two kinds of shadows one is visible in light the other invisible and internal The first is an inconstant companion only available in sunlight never helping, only watching a dark contortion of your image a silent watcher The second, constant and loud always giving advice, suggestions unwarranted this shadow clogs your heart and halts your mind a vocal critic neither shadow can truly control you their presence is mandatory but should not distract you know when they are friends and how to shut them out
