The Silent Shadow
I stay
quiet unaware
that it will bring
attention.
I stay
quiet hoping to
not be noticed.
I stay quiet
so I wont have to
say a word to a soul.
I stay
quiet
so I can stay out of sight.
I stay quiet to be silent in
my own world.
I stay silent so I won't be
bullied but
it has the opposite affect.
I stay
silent because
this is my armor, this is my protection.
I am the shadow
who can't reach out because you block my light.
