Simply Dreams
Its late at night, he is tossing and turning
screaming out in pain, not physical but emotional
tormenting but soothing
for he feels ths way every night
when he crawls in bed and shuts his eyes
and feels that he could die
from emotional torment of that day
of being called the names
feeling like he is to blame
for all the things that have happened that day
Everyday it is all the same
He say Hello in his brain
to girls he wishes he could talk to everyday
but it is all the same
for he feels that he is to blame
for the way he talks
the way he walks
the way he perceives things
and the reason that he dreams things
but they are all the same
just dreams nothing more
and nothing less
just simply dreams
that is all they will ever be
dreams of a world where he is wanted and loved
adored and held high upon a pedestal
where everyone can see the errors of their actions
and words that hurt him to the core
the very words that drive him to pursue a course
where he feels that he can change the course of his life
to better himself and his life
to live his dreams and make them true
so they can be more than
just simply dreams
