Slipping

They tell me they love me I just want them to let me go. I’m trying to get away They already know. I just want out of here This is a house of pain. I feel myself slipping I’m slowly going insane. They tell me I suck How they’re so disappointed in me. I’m trying my very hardest, I guess they can’t see. I try and I fail That’s how it always goes. Expectations mean nothing, If the outcome you already know. I blame myself for everything I think they blame me too. I feel like I’m fading, My body beaten and bruised. There is no escape I’ll never get away. Words mean so little When you have nothing to say.
