A smile

So hurt, so crushed, so dead

A smile you must show to be strong, to be powerful, to be unharmed

It is never ok to be hurt

So hurt, but no one sees through your smile

How can they not see the pain inside, the pain hidden by a smile?

Do I fake a smile so often no one can see the pain anymore?

Is it better to be vulnerable...or hidden from the world that doesn't care?
