Snow White

Skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood,
if only they could know you've been dragged through mud.
Skin representing your depression,
never happy enough to make a first impression.
Lips representing the thoughts inside your head,
thinking of things you have never said.
Bite into the apple because you knew it would bring disease,
but prince charming came with the birds and the bees, awakening you with a kiss.
You returned to life , the dark deep abyss.
