So Much More

Self esteem--self assurance

Scuttle your young shoes across the freshly waxen blinding whiteness

They say highschool gets better

Hang your head down and drift into your mindless universe

Maybe today they will leave you alone

The building walls, made by something greater than you--it's only matter

The dirty bathroom stalls where your frighting memories lie, are just that--memories

Faintly residing in the capacity of your intelligence, your eternal being

You will live to do something that is more than today

More than these beaten, yellowed lockers

More than the grimy pipes of the leaky puddle bathrooms

More than the stares of the callous, trite robots that conform to the dying system of bullying

A magnitude of things are waiting to be done

The sun is shining in your face--waiting
