Sorrow That Lies Inside

I ask myself, "where does the pain end?"

Am I too timid and melancholy to see that my misery has defined my every thought

Am I too so dispirited to tell my mind not to forsaken my body

For I am not who I once was

My memory has engaged in a sparked fire that was sworn by cold thoughts

I have nothing to justify why I am here or why I so deeply beg for for answers to why i'm depressed

I need to be released

I need air to breathe to where I won't suffocate in my own sadness

That day will so come and I will soon regain hope
