The Sound

Tell me about the sound of the waves

For I can no longer hear them
My ears have long lost their desire to listen.

The pain, the hate, the jealousy
Destroys all...
Even the beauty of the delicate waves
Crashing on the shore as the night grows ever older.

Tell me about the sound
Before you too lose the desire forever
