Spoken Words Lost Thoughts

Everyday i wake up walking down long hallways

its a place in my head i fly to escape

maybe I'm an activist but i cant add this

list of reasons why i cant breathe

my future haunt me

my past torture me

so im writing hoping this is

a beautiful view hoping you see

im really trying to do what i was born to do

writing lyrics and im still not cool

maybe this poem will make me good enough

i lost my purpose today

yesterday i lost my faith

maybe i can cure the pain today

to the reader  of this poem let me inside

your mind let our souls intwine

lets connect and spread peace,

 love , and justice

so many people down us

rather than help us

now we run around helpless

when its kids running around shirtless

without a home i hope this poem

can calm their soul

when their low and bring them high

to better days and i hope

all the depressed teens like myself

find the light and shine

ignite the will of fire

cry a shower

smile the same evening

you are beautiful

you are cool

you are not lame

you are not alone

you are not gay

you are not ugly

you are not weird

don't be afraid

stand up

wipe them tears

you don't have to be what they want you to be

BE FREE

don't let this society bring you down

continue to do you

BE YOURSELF

DON'T CHANGE

FOR NO ONE

LOVE YOURSELF

BE ENLIGHTENED

BE WISE

DON'T LET THEM CLIP YOUR WINGS

ITS A NEW ERA

You  are the NEXT BIG THING

spoken words

thank you .
