state street
gone too soon, green girl with the green hula hoop. green bubble gum that seems to last all afternoon. oblivious strides, listening to shoppers and busses with no one but certainty. her ripped denim shorts and oversized shirt, she wears with an aura of simplicity. she's there and she isn't, stares linger on the glimpse that has disappeared. she's unaware, but i'm now susceptible, to comments about girls liking girls and 'love is love' hate that fills accompanied air.
