Sterotypes

You call me a dyke

Though you don't know me

You see my short hair and just assume.

I didn't realize my hair announced my sexuality

Oh wait.

It doesn't.

It makes me mad when people call me a lesbian

Not because I'm straight but because they sterotype.

I'm not here to impress you

I'm not here to try to seduce a man with my long hair

I cut my hair for me

I cut my hair to make a statement

I cut my hair to piss you off.

Next time, think before you yell "dyke" at the short haired girl walking down the street.
