Still yours
I am your child
But no longer small
I used to want to talk
But you closed that door
You wish me to speak now
But I've been so used to silence
That quiet patter of feet that seems so loud
That I couldn't speak even if I knew how
I'm sorry I worry you
And take up too much space
Though it's not my fault
And this house is a silent place
I'm sorry that I lie to you
But "I'm fine" is just a phrase
The truth is I'm breaking down
Though your friends say it's just a phase
I wish I wasn't sorry
To be in my own space
But I still wish you'd worry
Even as I suffocate
Existence has burst in crimson flow
As I still drown in deaths last throws
yet through this silent land ill find
A voice louder then a silence that binds
