Stop Hating

We live in “one nation under god” But with all of our labels and stereotypes It feels more like the brand of a cattle rod How can you say that’s right? We’re all born free We are the same but you still hate Were you just born mean? Why can’t you change? You criticize someone who has a little originality And you hope that they will fall Do you even care about their personality? Or do you just wanna boost your own ego? Is that all? What is so wrong with them? So what if they follow the beat of their own drum Why do they have to be part of another trend? Maybe trying so hard to fit in, is what they think is dumb Why do they have to do the things you tell them to do? Why do they have to wear the clothes that you like? What do they have to prove to you? Is it not enough to be happy with themselves, on the inside? Tell me why are they still waiting For a world full of judgmental people like you To finally stop hating?
