"The Tale of Hell to Tell"
Johnny comes to school after being abused by his dad,
Everything he’s ever wanted was lost before it was had.
To let out his frustration, to let us know that he’s mad,
He takes Timmy to the bus lot and beats on the poor lad.
He doesn’t know it now, but he’s crying out loud,
Yelling at the stranger that waits at home for him now.
“Dad I fucking hate you, get out of my house!”
When Johnny’s done, Timmy gets up and shouts
“Beatin on me aint got ya nowhere bra,
A pussy like you, heh a chip off da block!”
So Johnny turns around and says “Ya know what, you’re right,
We’s both bitches, but you bark and I bite.
But the thing is, one of us won’t see mornin light,
If I no-show tomorrow, den you gotta be da bite,
Dat kind of power, ya gots ta use it right.
Go out and tell da world my dad killed me tonight!”
Johnny never shows, so Timmy steps up the game,
He sticks up for Johnny and keeps up with the pace.
Timmy’s says “I’m a raise Hell in this place!”
He tells his teachers, his friends, everybody he knows,
“Johnny’s dead. His father aint got nowhere to go.”
But when the get to looking, they find them dead in a hole,
A bullet in Johnny’s head, a spike through his daddy’s skull.
In the middle of it all lie a lady dying,
She says “I want out, it’s never good when the pain stops-a-cryin.
Johnny shoved his dad in this hole because he was tryin…
Tryin to kill me, said I was a no good lyin…
In the leg twice, once in the arm, and fists started flyin…
Got Johnny in in the head before he fell and died and…
And….” In Timmy’s arms, the lady started dreaming,
Johnny, sleeping
And Timmy, alone and weeping.
