Tank
The combined voices of teenagers continually rising on every wood trying to be heard in the sea of sounds
Trying to blend in with the surroundings but I can't quite blend in
Trapped inside a metal death trap, ghastly tank
Until my time arrives
Till then I have to stick around and pray to make it out alive
The sharks are swimming, ready to bite
Swim as fast as you can and don't get caught
They can smell the fear escaping my pores
But its already to late, they have spotted me
"Please, just leave me alone, I've done nothing wrong"
My pleas echo and bounce of the walls
Fear and confusion fill the air
Their teeth are bared and their coming in fast
Too many of them, too many too count
No hope
Everyone watches
Paled faces, they pretend they can not see or hear
I'm alone
Tears staining my cheeks , this only fuels their hunger
It gives them joy, they like playing with their food
The sign of defeat is clear
They attack using their lethal bites
Agonizing. It seems like years has passed once they stop
Its time to leave
Wounded I leave the tank
Only tomorrow I have to face it again tomorrow
And hopefully I get to hug the darkness and be forgotten
