Tears On My Pillow

Tears run down my face,

It happens every night.

Not even my pillow can comfort me,

Not when all hope is out of sight.

Sometimes it's best to let it all out,

Especially when all hope is out of sight.

Every now and then I'll scream,

For I'm tired of loosing this fight.

Please just leave me alone,

But before you go turn off the light.

Darkness is all that will hide these tears,

And all I can do is hold my pillow with all my might.

Maybe this pain will go away.

Maybe then I won't be filled with such fright.

One day it won't be like this,

And the future will be bright.

For the time I'll just sit here,

Holding my pillow tight.

For that's all I've got,

Just tears on my pillow tonight.
