Tell me

Tell me, what do you see?

A teen stuck in the body fit for a child?

A girl content with a book, a corner and absolute silence,

The  daughter, older sister, hellbent on protecting her family.

Tell me, what do you see?

The lisztomanic with her earbud seemingly welded to her ears.

A girl with her camera wrapped around her wrist

The writer with her pen and paper stuffed under her arm.

The biblophile with eight books crammed into her backpack.

Tell me, what do you see?

I see all this and then some, after all I'm not much -

truly I'm not much, just me.

I'm a big sister, a daughter, a friend, truthfully I'm a mirror i'm whatever a person needs to be- to a certain extent.
