the cure
caught a virus, now pretending you're the medication.
it's leading us to our final destination.
i'll spread it to you, you say: "I don't give a damn"
you don't deserve that, becoming sick just like I am.
you think i'm truly good, boy, I can tell you i'm not.
my mind is tangled up and twisted like a knot.
your love feels like heaven when you touch me like you do
but it doesn't matter cus that high, it ain't real or true.
and i'm high, feeling like i'm on the moon
don't want this feeling ending anytime now or soon.
so i'll try, try not to pass it off to you
but these toxins in my bloodstream are making it untrue.
for a while, thought i was cured from all of this shit
please vaccinate me, i'm so goddamn over it.
cus he's gone and now I have no drug to take,
and now the painkiller he used to be, is the thing that makes me ache.
