Think Again
Think again, next time you judge and point fingers at society,
because the dream of a world without hate is beautiful,
and that's what mine will be.
The boy you choose to pick on, and call hurtful names,
is abused enough at home, and turns to cut his veins.
Think again next time you use the term gay for a man cries,
because we're all human and have emotions to feel
its obvious that society's morals dies.
Every blink of an eye, and every tear drop that hits the ground,
could instead be one act of kindess, an act of love unwound.
Think again next time you look in the mirror,
as you see the criticism you posses inside of you.
It feels as though the world no longer sees love, no longer feels,
the hurt and despair is far too much to conceal.
Society needs to understand, and it needs to see,
the meaning of love and unity, instead of
cruel acts upon hate and jealousy.
Think again next time you hear on the news of teenagers who take their lives,
because depression and self esteem issues,
lead to overdose of pills, and sometimes even knives.
The world could be a better place,
free of people who cause a disgrace, free of hatred
of which includes gender, sexuality and race.
