Time

Looks have faded

My elastic skin now wrinkled

Lovely brunette locks turned to limp gray

Queenly posture crippled

Roads have been traveled

The view from the car-seat as colors flashed by

Fluffy white clouds accompanying me through Europe

Blue and red lights illuminating my path to the hopital

Character has grown

Silly chldhood dreams of princesses long forgotten

Red hair of risky rebellion a rare memory

Motherly instinct to protect still prominent
