Her tiny fingers reached to the sky, but no one would grab them.
She cried and cried, but no one would ever hear her.
There was no room for her to feel any safety or comfort.
Continuously looking over her shoulder,
Flinching at every raised voice,
Giving up at any sight of hope.
They did this to her.
They beat and bash her without even beating or bashing her.
Their words cut through what was left of her heart as she backed up in her already crowded corner.
Will you be there to help her?
Will you show her that fear should not constrict her?
Can you show her that the victim can become the survivor?
