Tortured

With a tortured soul, And the look of pain in my eyes, I put a gun to my head, And so I say my final goodbyes.

I am bipolar, I have PTSD, and I have depression. I am a suicidal hypocrite telling other people that it isn't the answer. And writing is my escape from reality. Staying Strong Always And Forever.

I was too a tortured soul carrying the burden of pain in my heart. I grew up in a violent house. I was touch so inappropriately by my older brother. Fortunately, even though that happen to me, I can say that I never felt more alive today for God has given me the strength to forgive and move on from those burdens. I know it's hard right now and you feel like your life is a waste and is worthless but I think it is worth something. Better yet, God knows your life is worth more than this. Why give it up? Why let the Devil win? Fight back my friend from this depression. Overcome what you think (what I thought) was impossible. Be the girl you want to be for God knows you can do it. Why else would you be on power poetry.com speaking your mind and voice. You have a gift to move people with your words. Use it to your advantage. I know you can for I did it myself. Don't give up!!!! Keep pushing forward. Keep writing on my friend:)!!!

I know now why I could see more in you by the way you write. I'll just say i've been where you have been and it is a struggle to keep the act up sometimes. I had depression for years, yet writing keeps me grounded even through my worst moments. But everyday, I learn to love myself more than what pain can do to any person; I've learned that depression can't destroy me and only I can do that.
