Tuxedo Cat

Big and black,

white under neck,

white on paws and under belly,

furry and warm,

smells like feathers.

Always sleeping,

always licking,

meticulously cleaning fur.

Laying on my bed,

laying on the rug in the kitchen,

his paws lighly stepping in the hallway can be heard.

Drinks milk,

doesn't care much for water,

gets up from his lazy slumber,

to drink and eat,

goes back to another hour of snooze

That ol' tuxedo cat on my bed.
