Two lives

I sit under the desk,

arms around my knees

as she tears into me.

Tears run down my cheeks,

my body is shaking

I can't breathe.

--

Sitting in the desk

staring at the ground

peircing words

I want to cover my ears

but I can't

I must respond.

--

Two different memories

Same person

Everyone lives two lives,

a life on the outside

and a life on the inside.

Two sets of memories,

Two seperate places

at the same time.
