Use it right
Use your eyes.
I want you to look at me and realize
That I'm more than the person you see on this stage.
And I'm enraged by the things you'll say behind my back
Because you lack the confidence to say it straight to me.
You look through me, and if not that, you don't look at me.
You look past me, waiting for the right moment to blast me
With hate. But it's never too late for you to stop
And think of the pain you can create.
Use your heart.
I don't want to be a part
Of a place where a few simple words can hurt,
Or even kill. I will never understand the need to be cruel.
We're all fools! We can see the people being hurt,
Treated like dirt!
We have the power to divert
the pain. It's a shame we haven't tried to be friends.
So from now on, let's bring bullying to an end.
