VOICES IN MY EARS

VOICES IN MY EARS These voices in my ears are not what I love to hear They bring me less joy and more fear These voices in my ears comes like a mixtape They keep confusing my thoughts after listening to the next tape These voices in my ears brings Complications, Delusions, Dissatisfactions, and indecisiveness that leads to wrong Decisions These voices in my ears are not serving me right I do my best to win, but they say my best is not good enough They make me feel like a flop These voices in my ears focus only on my predicament, but forget that what I really need is encouragement (Yeah) I know I sometimes make mistakes But these voices in my ears always grab my flaws, throw them to my face and leave scars on me with their claws These voices in my ears don't care about the sacrifices I have made and the sacrifices I am willing to make The efforts I have applied And the rocky roads I have to endure in my quest for success So when I stomp and fall When my life looks scramble When I so dearly need a helping hand When everything seems to be turning away from me When tears becomes the order of my day When I have lost everything and can't find my way When my tomorrow feels like it's taking forever to reach me When my today is no better than my yesterday When I have to wait for the left over meals from tables, just to eat When my room has only a bedsheet to sleep When my wardrobe has only a shirt and a trouser and I barely have something to put on my feet When I dropped out of school, because there's no money and when my dreams starts to fade These voices in my ears shattered and mock me They do not help look for solutions to my problems They add to them and quite often they are my problems Awww I’m not an expert of anything, but when I get lost trying on my own I stand here brainstorming on what next to do ‘Cos I still believe in myself And when these voices in my ears, give me weird energy I save all those negative thoughts about me for later ‘cos I don’t need them Yeah I know they will always be in my ears, and they will always be obstacles But I’ll keep my heads-up and stay focus till I achieve my goals ‘Cos right now, I’m Allergic to these voices in my ears
