the war inside us
there are wars inside all of us
each diffrent war like an iorn bar
each war locking us up like prisoners on a bus
telling everyone who we are
we confess our wars
we hope someone will help
the war is changing us
makeing us someone else
someone we do not wish to be
it makes life a hell
these people ignight the war
their words like knives cutting deep
when we start to fuss
our lives become bizarre
while others digress
their absense leaves scars
hideing our blades in our drawers
we will wait to be helped
however noone will be there to listen to our decree
we will sit there in our dry cell
waiting for a chance to be free
one day we will emerge from this shell
we will show them how high we can soar
and their words will be put to sleep
