War Of Words

She wants to be dead
Because of all the words she hears.
She never tried to fight the lies that were said.
The lies come in many forms; some were read others were heard.
The sad part is its not just her who have to fight the words
The words that feels like it smuthers
Out every last little bit of hope in life.
The words that were wrote by others
Who may themselves be trying to survive
In their own terrible way.

Everyone has heard the words they say; yet chooses to ignore
The hateful words so why are we trying so hard to hide
From the things we don't bother to stop? Maybe it's because
We are afraid we'll be the next victim in this war of words.
The war of words can be won if we would stand together as one
