We Are Alive

We believe if we were to confess what we believe

Everything we ever knew and loved... we would be free

Arm in arm, carefree as can be

Reminiscing about our life before and what we would do

Explanations being pushed aside to better hide

All the horrible things that brew in our lives now

Let me ask you how, exactly, pretending to be okay

Is actually okay?

Viewing others as barely human, not caring what we do or what we say

Everyone is in their own head... We need to stand together to truly be free
